Compass Enterprises
Compass Enterprises offer a variety of day
habilitation services for individuals with developmental disabilities.
Each program is focused on increasing independent living and
cognitive skills with a concentration on medical care and
treatment. Our day services offer a structured environment
with a diverse series of clinical services including:
- Sensory motor development
- Self-help skills
- Independent living skills
- Social skill development
- Communication skill development
- Behavioral skill development
A talented, interdisciplinary team of professionals
supports these programs and is available for staff and participants
on-site. Professionals include:
- Psychologist
- Occupational therapists
- Physical therapists
- Speech and language specialists
- Medical and nursing specialists
- Behavior-management specialists
Compass Blossom
in Lynn focuses its services on an older population of 50
and up. Participants engage in social and recreational activities.
Staff trained in American Sign Language lead a group for the
hearing impaired.
Compass Maple
Park in Medford is geared toward people who want
to develop job skills with the goal of working in the community.
There are on-site and off-site supported employment opportunities
available.
Compass Pleasant
in Melrose emphasizes sensory skill development, personal
hygiene, nursing services and activities that enhance an individual's
independence in daily living.
Compass Woodman
located in Lynn offers vocational training. Participants develop
job skills and are placed in paid positions in local businesses.
Elder Day Habilitation
offers mobile services to residents of nursing homes who are
unable to travel to our Compass locations.
