Bridgewell is a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization.
Much of our funding for operations and administration comes
from state and federal sources. However, to offer the highest
quality of services possible, we need private donations as
well.
Since Bridgewell began in 1958, contributions
from generous citizens have enhanced our ability to achieve
our mission — to serve each and every individual so
that he or she achieves the greatest level of independence
possible.

Bridgewell welcomes all donations, small or large,
and provides several means by which generous donors can participate
in our giving program.
Cash Donations
Gifts of cash are much appreciated because
Bridgewell can put them to use immediately, and they may provide
tax benefits to you. You can make your contribution online
or by mail.

Memorial Gifts
A memorial gift is a wonderful way to honor
and remember a loved one. Such a gift may be designated toward
a particular service or program in which the individual was
involved, to a service or program about which you feel passionate
or to the agency as a whole.
Gifts of Securities
Gifts of appreciated securities may be
deducted at full-market value on the date of the transfer
to Bridgewell. In addition, you receive a charitable tax deduction
for the current fair-market value of any appreciated stock
you have held for more than one year. Bridgewell is happy
to discuss prospective gifts with donors and/or their financial
adviser.
In-kind Donations
In-kind donations are always welcome additions
to our homes and programs. Please contact the Development
Department about how you can make an in-kind donation.
